Who we are
JURIS (jurisglobal.org) is currently operated by Carlo Alberto Rovere and Jethro Xavier Powers, who are the controllers of your personal data. We are in the process of incorporating a company to operate JURIS, and we will update this notice when that happens. You can contact us at hello@jurisglobal.org.
Email JURIS about your dataInformation we collect
When you use our website or tools, contact us or request a consultation, we may collect:
- Your name, email address, telephone number and other contact details.
- Nationality, country of residence and tax residency.
- Household composition, preferred destinations and timing.
- Investment budget and the types of investment you would consider.
- The support you are interested in and any message you send us.
- Your chosen adviser or programme, the page your enquiry came from, and a record of your consent choices.
We may also collect basic technical information such as your IP address, browser, device information and website usage data.
Your answers in the planning tool are stored only in your browser tab and are not sent to us unless you submit an enquiry. You can review and edit the information included in the enquiry before sending it.
How we use your information
We may use your information to:
- Respond to enquiries and provide requested information.
- Help identify relevant citizenship, residency or international mobility programmes.
- Arrange consultations or introductions to professional advisers and service providers at your request.
- Operate, secure and improve our website and services.
- Comply with legal or regulatory obligations, including KYC or AML requirements where they apply to the service being provided.
- Send relevant JURIS updates where you have consented to receive them.
Receiving updates is optional and is separate from consent to respond to your enquiry. You can withdraw either consent by emailing hello@jurisglobal.org. You can still submit an enquiry without choosing to receive updates.
Lawful bases for processing
Under UK GDPR and, where applicable, EU GDPR, the lawful basis depends on the purpose of the processing:
- Consent: to respond to an enquiry where you have agreed to this use, make an introduction with your separate consent, and send optional updates you have requested.
- Steps at your request before entering a contract, or performance of a contract: where necessary to provide a service you have requested.
- Legitimate interests: to operate, secure and improve JURIS, prevent misuse and manage business communications, where those interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.
- Legal obligations: where a specific legal or regulatory duty requires processing, including applicable KYC or AML obligations.
Where consent is the basis, you can withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it was withdrawn. If you are asked to complete identity verification or screening, information about that separate process should be provided before your documents are collected.
Sharing your information
We do not sell your personal information. Where necessary to provide a service you have requested, relevant information may be shared with selected professional advisers, lawyers, licensed agents, financial institutions or compliance providers. We obtain your separate, explicit consent before sharing your enquiry with an independent adviser or partner.
We use technology providers, such as website hosting, data storage and email providers, to operate JURIS. Enquiries are reviewed in the private JURIS admin inbox. Selecting an adviser does not automatically forward your enquiry to that adviser.
International transfers
Because JURIS operates internationally, some service providers or professional partners may be located outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area. Where required, appropriate safeguards will be used for international transfers. Contact hello@jurisglobal.org to ask about the safeguards relevant to your information.
Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected or where required by law or regulation. We keep enquiry data for up to 12 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete it earlier or we are required to keep it longer by law.
Cookies and similar technologies
Our website may use essential cookies required for the website to function. Analytics, advertising or other non-essential cookies will only be used where permitted and, where required, after you have provided consent.
The website uses Vercel Web Analytics, which is designed to provide usage statistics without cookies. The planning tool uses browser session storage to retain your answers in the current tab. These technologies and the technical information described above help deliver the website and understand its use.
ICO guidance on cookies and similar technologiesYour GDPR rights
Depending on the applicable law and the basis for processing, you may have rights to:
- Access your personal data and information about how it is used.
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Request deletion or restrict the use of your personal data.
- Object to certain processing, including direct marketing.
- Request data portability where this right applies.
- Withdraw consent where processing relies on it.
To exercise your rights or ask questions about how your information is used, contact hello@jurisglobal.org. Rights may be subject to conditions and legal exceptions.
Contact JURIS about your privacy rightsComplaints
If you are in the United Kingdom, you have the right to raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO). If you are in the EU/EEA, you may contact your local data protection authority.

If you register interest in JURIS early access or Programme Watch, we collect the contact details, preferences, consent and page context submitted in that form. A professional partner application may also include your organisation, role, jurisdiction, services, contribution description and notes. We use these details to respond about the product or partnership you requested. Enquiry consent does not sign you up for a waitlist or marketing updates.
Website services
Our hosting, database, analytics and map providers process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, display maps and understand site usage. The public website is not a secure document room: do not include passports, identity documents, financial records or other sensitive documents in the general enquiry form.
Where Ask JURIS is available, messages are processed by JURIS infrastructure and its configured AI model provider to generate a response. JURIS does not create assistant transcript records in its database. Do not submit sensitive documents or personal case files to the assistant.
Information, not advice
Content on JURIS is for general information only and does not constitute legal, tax, immigration or financial advice.
