Greece grants a renewable five-year residence permit to eligible non-EU investors who make a qualifying investment. The minimum investment depends on the route: €250,000 for certain listed-building, change-of-use and startup routes; €400,000 or €800,000 for qualifying real estate, depending on location; and different thresholds for financial investments. No minimum stay in Greece is required to maintain the investor permit. The permit does not grant Greek citizenship or make its holder a Greek tax resident.
